Update { Bathroom }

So, I realize that months ago I promised to have photos of my mini bathroom update. But, as you either know or will someday realize, redoing rooms in a house will inevitably take much, much longer than whatever you plan :(

So here is another tiny peek! Yesterday I made a DIY jewelry hanger for some of my earrings and necklaces!

I used a vintage gilt frame that I found at Lamb's Gate Antiques, a piece of silver grate from Lowe's, a staple gun to attach the grate, and then teeny little s-hooks to hang the jewelry from.

I promise to have pics of the whole room soon!! Have a lovely weekend!

Oh that is a great DIY! Maybe you could post directions on how to make one? I want one for my bathroom!

i applaud you for the DIY! i keep running into them at art shows or stores (since they're becoming mroe popular now), but i refuse to buy one because i really want to make one myself. it looks so doable! and i also applaud you for accepting that redoing rooms takes time. if you just rush things, then you'll make last-minute decisions that you won't be happy with in the end.

This is a great idea!! I might copy you on this if my trusty jewelry holder doesn't make it for another year (to much stuff on it) But that green beaded necklace (on the left next to the black necklace) is GORGEOUS...where did you find it?!

Your mini re-do looks adorable so far! Your "jewelry frame" is adorable - and you have great jewelry to display on it. Can't wait to see the rest of your house!

Thanks everyone! I'll try to find another little frame and do a "how-to" post later this week.

Purple Deer: I got the green leaf necklace at a thrift store a few year ago - I found it for just a couple of dollars!

Great project! Your bathroom is looking beautiful. I love the wall color, it's very close to the color of my kitchen.

brilliant! love it! i would need 600 of these to hang my jewelry! but i love it!!! right now i hang all of my necklaces on a coat rack hanging above my dresser (horizontal; 2 prongs). it sounds awful, but it looks cool and it works!
